Prophecy indicates from Jesus, the apostle John, the apostle Paul, the prophets, Isaiah, Zechariah and Daniel there will be not just the coming temple but also another in the millinium
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. Zechariah 6:13
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. Matthew 24:1-2
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Matthew 24:15
Jesus points to a future event that happened in the past. See Eccl This is a key! Whoso reads, let him understand! Jesus said in verses 1 & 2 that the temple will be destroyed, yet points to an event in the future that a new temple will be defiled like the event in Daniel. "
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Daniel 11:31 and the timing "And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Daniel 12:11 This will be the trigger point of the Middle or the start of what Jesus said is the "Great tribulation". This is one of the reasons this author is pre-trib. Any other position gives a timing point for the Rapture. The last 7 years or the final week of Daniel's 70 weeks is for the purpose of fulfilling of the work the Lord God said he would do in Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." This is NOT for the church...The Church age will be over. God will again turn His heart and do all that He promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets.
History channel report on destruction of temple that Jesus prophesied that Herod's temple was to be destroyed. Comment on gospel of Mark is classic by HC is what the liberals claim also about the book of Daniel. They simply cannot accept that bible speaks so clearly and accurately about future events called prophecy. That the liberal mind says "No, it can't be so it must have been written after the event. See Dr. Chuck Missler's book Cosmic Codes for details on the gospel of Mark in appendix F with regard to its divine heptatic structure. Daniel was written and translated into Greek hundreds of years before these events in Daniel is folly and simply intentionally blind to known facts of History.
