Understanding Islam

This section is dedicated to understanding Islamic doctrine and views of end times.  Contrast between biblical doctrine and Islamic doctrine is examined.  One of the five pillars of Islam is the belief in the last day.

Dajjal Islamic Antichrist

Dajjal Armageddon

Dajjal/Anti-Christ

The doctrine of last days with the Islam is very important.  I would even say that it has more of an emphasis with Muslims than the average Joe Christian.  Sad!  90% of Christians are ignorant of Last Days and have no understanding of what is on the table prophetically.  Islam has a very intricate view of end times within the teachings of Islam.  While they have their own sects and views, it is never the less very interesting to see the inverted picture of end times that will eventually put the Islamic nations at the battle of Armageddon for judgement.

Isa: The Jesus of Islam

One of the integral part of what Muslims believe is the belief in the last day.  Islam has more of an emphasis on last day events.  They are waiting for Jesus (Isa), they are waiting for a Messiah (Mahdi), Armageddon, the Antichrist, and various other biblical related scenarios.  This cannot be over stated that the end times are very important to the Muslim.

There is a war in heaven!  It is a war of the forces of Light verses the satanic forces of darkness.  See Revelation 12:7 and Daniel 10 for this heavenly battleground.  We as Christians once walked in darkness Ephesians 5:8-11, but now are children of the light.

Jihad and Terrorism

Jihad & Terrorism

Jihad in short is a Muslim expression of spiritual struggle against the forces of evil.  Jihad comes from the Arabic verb Jahada that is to exert.  To be perfectly fair to all Muslims, Jihad is different to different people.  Many among the Muslim community disagree as to the true way to partake in Jihad.  Just like we of the Christian community have varied interpretations on the rapture, works, and prophecy.  It is up to us to understand that it is the fundamentalists Muslim that will go to the length of killing themselves in the cause of Allah.

History of Islam

The history of Islam is one that is fascinating with its extraordinary growth that it experienced in the years following the prophet Muhammad.  Let’s take a look at the prophet and the history of Islam up to the 20th century.

Muhammad the prophet of Islam is believed to be the final prophet sent by Allah to bring true Islam back.  Islam is taught as the original faith that Allah (God) gave to Adam as His first prophet.  Noah, Abraham, Noah, Solomon, and Jesus are listed as prophets of Islam.  None is greater than Muhammad according to the teachings of the Qur’an (Koran).

Who is ALLAH ?

We as Christians have a biblical imperative to respond to those who oppose and pervert the gospel of Christ.  The gospel was delivered to us ONCE.  (Jude 1:3)

This agreement, I am not considering it more than the agreement which had been signed between our prophet Mohammed and Koraish, and you remember the Caliph Omar had refused this agreement and [considered] it a despicable truce... Arafat

What would Mohammad do

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I [am] the LORD.   BLB (KJV) Lev 19

A whole generation of children are being taught the doctrine of hatred.

   Winds of Martyrdom

"Islam wishes to destroy all States and Governments anywhere on the face of the earth which are opposed to the ideology and programme of Islam regardless of the country or the Nation which rules it. The purpose of Islam is to set up a State on the basis of its own ideology and programme, regardless of which Nation assumes the role of the standard bearer of Islam or the rule of which nation is undermined in the process of the establishment of an ideological Islamic State."--Sayeed Abdul A'la Maududi, Jihad in Islam p9
