God has a problem
If God is just (and He is) and man is sinful (and we ALL are). If God is righteous then God must judge us according to His law. God is also merciful. He has provided an antidote to the virus of sin that has infected all of humanity. Your going to die. 10 out of 10 people born die. You should think about that this side of death. Death will come and he is a cruel enemy. But thanks be to God who is rich in mercy. The problem is God is Holy and Just. He is also merciful. Sin (crimes against God) must be punished. So how can God judge us and give us punishment for breaking the moral law, and extend mercy? See article on Why the cross for a more detailed look at Gods answer to the problem He has and the answer.
The problem. A righteous and Holy God requires holiness and must judge us according to the moral law written on our hearts. Sin must be judged and punished. Because God is good and just He must punish our sins. The punishment is death and eternal separation from God. That is eternity in Hell.
The answer is the cross of Jesus Christ. God is rich in mercy! That should give you heart to worship Him who loved us so much He gave us His very life. Tasted death for everyone and went to Hell so we could receive mercy. It is a free gift. It is called Salvation or being saved. Saved from what? Saved from eternal separation from a loving God who has done everything to buy you back from the curse of sin and debt. He paid our debt with His own life by shedding His innocent blood as the ultimate price that could be paid. God became a man and lived the perfect sinless life and gave Himself a ransom for you and me. Receive Him into your heart by faith and make Him Lord of all your life. Say this simple prayer and believe that if you are sincere. God will forgive you all your sins. Start a good bible study lifestyle. Find a bible believing church. Check in with us here at TPT. A Letter from Hell
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
