At the G-20 meeting, Bush agreed to subject the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and our other regulatory agencies to the supervision of a global entity that would critique its regulatory standards and demand changes if it felt they were necessary. The United States of America, called a “Christian” nation, and upon whose currency the words “In God We Trust” still appear. This letter is written as an appeal to the conscience of that America. We are at a crossroads and the fate of our nation hangs in the balance.

 Note that these proposals call for the United Nations to take on important new tasks associated with the withdrawal of the U.S. from Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as in the area of global disarmament.  One of my motives in proposing this is, deliberately, to enhance the power and standing of the U.N. by increasing its responsibilities
